To Whom It May Concern:
I was just going to point out to you that you mention
all about the scouts and the models being scammed, but
what about the people in the office?
I have a friend that used to work for Options
Talent (AKA emodel), and
he HATED it.
The company violates more labor laws than I have ever
seen in my life by not allowing the people to take lunches;
forcing them to work up 15 hours a day or more; and by
threatening employees’ jobs when they have a bad
day.
My friend is a hard-working person who just wanted to
work for a company he could respect.
He did NOT find it.
There are all sorts of intimidation tactics they use
on their in-house sales people and their closers that
makes it IMPOSSIBLE for them to do their job.
And in this job market most of the salespeople and closers
would not be able to find another job paying them what
they are promised with this company.
Basically, what Talent Options Group does
is burn its employees out.
There is no job security, no company loyalty, no real
drive to succeed other than to keep their job.
I personally would like to see someone do something
to make everyone aware of how this company takes people
and shatters their lives if given the chance.
To use people and then discard them as if they are garbage
is wrong when the people have given their lifeblood to
them for any period of time.
To take the dreams of people and use it to their own
advantage in a money-making scheme is completely slimy.
And the saddest part of all is the way they try to make
it seem like they are doing YOU a favor by “allowing” you
to become a member of their company. What a crock.
The whole idea of posting models and actors on a website
is great, but E-model/ Talent Options has
ruined the whole concept by their illegal and immoral
actions.
I would like to see the company taken down, and the
responsible parties held responsible to EVERYONE they
used and took advantage of: models, scouts, AND in-house
sales people and closers.
Everyone but the upper management has been victimized
by this company, and I want to see them get the justice
they deserve.
