emodel.com, Options Talent Group
To Whom It May Concern:
I'm interested in getting in contact with the agencies
that Options Talent Group supposedly
works with.
Could you provide me with numbers or addresses for Ford,
Elite, and Wilhelmina?
Also do you know which casting directors Options "works" with?
I would like to speak with them as well.
Thanks!
D.P.

I have no idea if Options Talent works with casting
directors. I didn't see any names on their website.
There may be different claims by Options Talent. Certain
scouts/talent executives have apparently claimed Option
Talent affiliation with big names in the modeling/fashion
industry which differ from the official print/online
advertising.
Furthermore, it is not clear if model scouts/talent
executives provide the same disclaimer as the website
with respect to Elite or Ford.
For example, model scouts/talent executives on the street
or at an open call could tell prospective clients Ford
uses their website.
The immediate association in the mind of the potential
member is the big agency in New York, Ford Models. However,
the website said it was not that Ford, it is another
Ford, i.e., a smaller Boston agency (which most people
have probably never heard of).
Similarly, model scouts/talent executives on the street
or at an open call could tell prospective clients Elite
uses their website.
The immediate association in the mind of the potential
member is the big agency in New York, Elite Model Management.
However, it is not that Elite, it is another Elite, i.e.,
Elite Singapore.
A representative for Elite Singapore attended a meeting
organized by emodel (former name for Options Talent),
and said: "There are some pretty good ones actually,
who will work really well in my market in SINGAPORE.
I don't really know the other judges judging criteria,
but, yeah, I get a few really good ones that I want to
see in callbacks to look at up-close."

Disclaimer: Callbacks are not contracts. The difference
is not very subtle. They require no commitment and can
simply be a way of being polite to the host, because
if you don't have at least a few callbacks, it essentially
says to the scouts, "You guys are clueless."
