To Whom It May Concern:
Well, on Monday the letter to cancel the contract was
sent out.
The more and more I kept thinking about it, the more
and more it just seemed as though they were just saying
exactly what I wanted to hear.
On Thursday we got a call from the person who signed
me up and they said: "We were really surprised to
see that."
We didn't want to say anything like "We don't trust
you." So we just said it was not a good time with
the money issues.
He said: "Well, why don't we try the 20-week program?
Is that ok?"
We said: "No, we just need to wait."
He kept saying, "This is the perfect time; it's
pilot season" (like he said the first time, and
told me he wanted to get me on a sitcom).
Big hint that, like we thought all along, they just
wanted our money.
He said that he would honor the 500-dollar registration
fee if I choose to go back.
Ugh.
I go through phases where I feel really good about canceling,
and other times where I feel like I'm missing out on
something huge.
Everyone I have talked to said: "So, he was hard-selling
you; that's no way to do business!"
I know in my heart we did the right thing, but I just
can't help thinking, "What if?"
I have sent pictures to 50 agencies (in three states).
We will see what happens...
