John Robert Powers Modeling
School
To Whom It May Concern:
Is John Robert Powers a scam? I recently went to one
of their auditions at Paradise Pier Hotel.
They said that I was the best-looking person there and
wanted me to sign up with their school in Valencia the
next day.
They told me that I had a future in modeling and wanted
me to also do acting.
They pressured my parents to sign me up for their schooling
in Valencia. They told me that there were agents who
came there every week.
They wanted my parents to pay a lot of money and sign
contracts that minute.
My parents weren't sure what to do, but they assured
them that I would do great in the business. They even
said they would give me a scholarship to put me on "Level
3" classes but for a lower price of $1,500.
My parents signed the contracts, but within the 72-hour
period they called to temporarily cancel, because they
read some email complaints about JRP.
They don't know whether to call back or not because
they are not sure if it is a scam.
B.B.
B.,
If you want to learn acting, don't start paying more
than $300. If you want to learn about modeling, don't
start paying a dime.
You can get five-week acting classes for $300. Modeling
agencies which are reputable train models free.
JRP is run by Mr. Cash Today. Hold onto your money unless
you feel you need to make a donation.
