John Robert Powers Modeling
School
To Whom It May Concern:
I am very upset that I have spent
over $2,000 on my classes and on my photos, but
so far I have received nothing.
When I had homework and half the class
didn't do it, my teacher didn't say anything, and all
of the students didn't care about doing it, either.
I think we learned a lot of important
things, but we really weren't taught how to act in
front of our agents and have the right kind of personality
for what we want to do.
If they would have cared more about us,
and less about the money, they would have taken us
farther with our dreams. What I mean is having classes
every two weeks for five months isn't a lot—at
least not enough to become an actress/actor, singer,
model, or dancer.
I considered myself very stupid for doing
this before researching. I felt so good when they accepted
me, but then when I had realized that they had over
10 classes going on every Saturday twice (in the morning
and afternoon), I didn't feel so good. I felt like
I had been taken advantage of, yet I continued because
I was very convinced.
I am 12 years old, almost 13, and I really
would like to be a singer or actress in my future,
but this has been one of the sneakiest [...].
Anyone out there that is reading this,
please listen to me before you take these classes .
. . save your money for any kind of college instead
of [...] like these.
