To Whom It May Concern:
I received an "invitation" letter only six
months after my baby was born! Somehow they knew that
and invited us to "be evaluated" by them. My
husband and I went to meet them and after a very hard
sell, we declined because they pressured us give them
our credit card, and "Cory" was very rude!
She did not give us her last name.
The amount they charge people is $595—their standard
contract. We looked at the contract at when we were in
their office. However, they would NOT allow us to take
it home and think about—BIG RED FLAG there!
I contacted local media and WCCO in Minneapolis is going
to do a story on them next month. I have also contacted
the state's Attorney General. They said they would "look
into it."
I have misplaced that letter and the TV station would
like a copy of it to go in and "interview" with
Kids.com. I can't locate anyone else around here who
has one, but am still looking. WCCO would like very much
to get a story out there to warn vulnerable parents about
Kids.com. I would too! I hope someone can get to the
bottom of this. I know a lot of people here, and nationwide,
feel ripped-off and angry.
